Inside Special Pathaan Screening With Shah Rukh, Deepika And John

Finally, the wait is over as Shah Rukh Khan's film Pathaan has hit theatres across the globe. However, ahead of the release, the makers organized a low-key screening at Yash Raj Films Studio. On Tuesday, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, with his wife Priya Runchal, were spotted arriving at the venue. Kishore Biyani has stepped down from the suspended board of Future Retail and has resigned as chairman and director of the company, which is currently facing insolvency proceedings before the NCLT. In his emotional farewell, Kishore Biyani, who was associated with Future Retail Ltd (FRL) since 2007 when it was incorporated, said it was facing CIRP (Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process) as a "result of unfortunate business situation". Noida Tea Seller Bids Rs 3.25 Lakh Per Month For A Kiosk

A tea seller, Sonu Kumar Jha has made a bid of paying a monthly rent of Rs 3.25 lakh for a 7 by 7 feet kiosk in Noida's Sector 18. Noida Authority conducted an auction for the Kisk K-3 along with six other kiosks under its "allotment of commercial kiosks", earlier this month. The base price of the kiosk was around Rs 27,000 per month. Kiosk K-3 is situated near triangle park in front of the fast food restaurant chain McDonald's in the Sector-18 market. Sonu Kumar Jha sells gutka and tea along with his other family members. There were 20 other contenders who participated in the auction.  "Sonu will have to deposit 14 months' rent in advance to Noida Authority, i.e. around Rs 45 lakh in order to get possession of the kiosk," Sonu's father, Digambar Jha in an interview with NDTV. Thailand's Maeklong Railway Station in Samut Songkhram province is a tourist attraction. The station has Rom Hup Market which literally sits on the railway track. According to Thailand tourism's website, the market is spread over a 100-metre stretch and is open from 6 am to 6 pm. It is a common fresh market selling seafood, vegetable, fruits, fresh and dried food, meats and other miscellaneous goods. The market is called the 'life-risking' market because its stalls are attached to the Mae Klong-Ban Laem railway, which is a short railway line running from and to Mahachai and Mae Klong. 23-Year-Old Indian, Injured During Armed Robbery In US, Dies

A 23-year-old Indian has died after he was shot during an armed robbery in Chicago, according to a media report on Tuesday. Devsish Nandepu was shot during an armed robbery Sunday night in Princeton Park on the South Side, Chicago police said on Tuesday morning. He succumbed to his injuries, a report in ABC7 Eyewitness News said. The report added that Nandepu died just after 4 a.m. Monday morning at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. He had been shot in the armpit and taken to the hospital in critical condition during the incident. Nandepu and another 22-year-old were near a parking lot about 6:55 p.m. Sunday when a dark-coloured vehicle approached them. Two occupants from the vehicle held them at gunpoint and demanded valuables from them. Nandepu and his friend complied and were shot, officials said.
